LEENA
PENDHARKAR, Writer/Director
Getting to the village was no easy task--we traveled by bus, foot
and boat in the scalding heat! That's me with my Sony TRV900 camera,
surrounded by friends from Domkhedi. People were very interested in
taking a look at the world through the lens. I added a Kenko .5 wide
angle lens and XLR inputs to the camera. Most of the images on this
site (except this one) are video stills. Technology can truly be amazing!

AMEET
MEHTA, Sound Recordist, Camera Assistant
My husband Ameet is a flash designer and illustrator. For better or
worse, he gets roped into my journalistic exploits. His Gujarati language
skills came in very handy on this trip!

ROBIN
SUKHADIA, Musical Score
My close friend, he composed the lush, organic beats for the film.
He has been studying tabla intensely for over 4 years and is interested
in a host of social and political issues. |
