STORY
Raspberry Magic, Written/Directed by Leena Pendharkar, Produced by Megha Kadakia, is a coming-of-age story about the delicate nature of family relationships and the complex web of emotions that tie us together. At the center is Monica Shah, a thoughtful and determined 11-year-old who believes she can solve any problem--even if it’s her parents’ crumbling relationship.
After he father leaves and her mother goes into deep depression, she's left to pick up the pieces, believing that if she wins the science fair, everything will be ok. But she quickly learns that the answers aren't so simple.
Raspberry Magic played in many film festivals, won the Audience Award at the Philadelphia Asian Film Festival and was distributed on Hulu and Starz, and is now available on Apple TV Plus, Amazon, Tubi and more.
